Ex-Moldy Peach, and grand American indie-pop solo artist in his own right, Adam Green has started his own blog. Currently hosted on a German server, Adam Green Adventsblog (and in January ‘09 to be relocated to a dot-com address at the Lakeroom) captures his quirky personality through a series of pictures, and has been updated daily since the 1st of this month.

Even providing the text in the form of snaps of his own handwriting on a tablet, Green lets his photos recount his daily adventures, ranging from hanging out with Devendra Banhart, spotting Libertines graffiti, Keds vs. Dr. Scholl’s, encounters with New Yorkers, tarot card readings, and his, erm, on-going “action film” plot. Above, you can see him “chillin’ on Jim Morrison’s couch”.

As a fan of the man and his music since Durch die Nacht mit…Carl Barat und Adam Green, a German documentary featuring Carl Barat (The Libertines, Dirty Pretty Things) and Green, and after the utter coolness of meeting and chatting with him before his excellent show at the Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco in May [pictured, at left], I will be interested to see how his blog develops and how he uses it as a medium to entertain and interact with fans.
