Artist Feature: Örnsberg

Örnsberg is the music of Swedish electronic artist Johan Ragnarsson. Up-tempo catchiness and dancability are key in the track “Shoegazing” (featured on a Club King Kong compilation), a vibrant night-life soundscape, with the other side of the spectrum heard the drifting, sweet “38” (featured on a Series Two Records compilation). Also prsesent is a touch of the unexpected, with the retro “away away”and dreamy, softer textures in “Wake up in my dream” and “Arlanda”. The single “Weekend Lights”, feat. Magnus Carlson (of The Weeping Willows), is particularly recommended as a lovely, poignant slice of modern electronic pop.

Örnsberg’s first LP will be released in April through Perfectly Charming Records.
