Overall, Mother is a brilliant collection of modern ambient/electronica, with sparkling emotive touches that could charm any fan of Air or Brian Eno, with a host of guest vocalists (including Caspe Clausen of Efterklang and Anna Bronsted of Our Broken Garden) accompanying the beautiful instrumentation throughout. Highlights include smooth opener “Love Tendrilises”, chilling and edgy tunes “A Flower White” and”The Natural Process”, and the haunting, plodding “Suture”.
