We’re proud to announce the launch of a new site connected to A Future in Noise- a Tumblr that functions as a music video channel!:

This is a supplement to the music blog here, with 400+ music videos and live performances of previous and currently featured artists at AFIN (plus many more), all tagged and browsable by artist (alphabetically or through the search box) and decade. Hitting the RANDOM button brings up a random video from the archives- you can keep clicking, and you’ll get different videos! Whether you’re a member of Tumblr or not, you can subscribe via RSS through Feedburner, and if you’re already a member of Tumblr, you can simply click ‘+ Follow’ on the top right corner of the site. A batch of new videos are added every few hours, every day, and you can even submit videos via a form (such as YouTube or Vimeo links) to us that you’d like to see on the site, if you like.

A Future in Noise Music Videos is managed by myself and fellow Tumblr users Francis, Lilian, and Lane. I was inspired to begin the site because of being bored with the typical means of watching music videos, which on television means…well, not very much music, and on the internet tends to mean hunting for videos and not having a variety of videos from past and present specially selected and delivered to you on a regular basis. Though there are certainly other video-based Tumblr sites, I wanted this one to have extra functionality, and especially, a channel-like element. Now, get watching!
